From 1999 to 2006, Scott worked as a civilian contract photographer for the Department of Defense at McGuire Air Force Base, NJ. There, he photographed deployments, training exercises, public relations, mid-air refueling flights and crime scenes. He also documented the relief and deployment efforts directly associated with the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
