Having been in business as an event photographer for the past 20 years, the majority of my clients have been in the healthcare industry— it only seems fitting considering my diverse healthcare and biomedical background.
Rochester Institute of Technology is one of the few schools in the country that offers the degree of Biomedical Photographic Communications. Photography internships at Rochester’s Medical Examiner’s Office, Public Safety Lab and Albany’s Forensic Investigation Center, coupled with coursework in Human Biology, Medical Terminology and Diagnostic Medical Imaging, provided me with valuable skills as a photographer in the healthcare industry.
Countless healthcare related photo shoots over the years have ranged from custom marketing photography for print publications and websites, event coverage for symposiums, conferences and trade shows, in addition to healthcare related architectural photography. I have photographed for large healthcare systems such as Penn Medicine and recently secured a contract to photograph six annual national trade shows and conferences for HMP Communications; events ranging from wound care and cardiometabolic health to psychiatric and mental health.
Below is a quick snapshot of healthcare assignments over the past few years.
