After 15 years of photographing corporate, healthcare and higher education events, Scott Spitzer Photography has begun pursuing ways to “give back” and use creativity to assist with marketing for nonprofits through pro bono photography.
Recently, Scott sought out and created a partnership with a children’s hospital and their global health program. This past spring, a Scott Spitzer Photography associate traveled to the Dominican Republic to photograph a site visit. Documentation of a supporting hospital foundation and their generous involvement in Consuelo and La Romana was the goal of the trip. We shadowed the team as they toured the facilities and supported neighborhoods. As a result, images from the two day trip will be used for ongoing fundraising and marketing collateral.
In addition, Scott teamed up with Turning Points for Children under the Public Health Management Corporation. Turning Points helps reduce child abuse and improves the lives of children throughout Philadelphia. Scott documented their summer barbecue where they celebrated their Families and Schools Together (FAST) partnership. “The Families and Schools Together program works closely with school principals and counselors, and mental health and substance abuse providers.”
Overall, we were honored this year to provide volunteer support in Philadelphia and abroad and we look forward to exploring ongoing partnerships through pro bono photography.
