Philadelphia Healthcare & Corporate Event Photography: 2025 Year in Review

Home » Blog » Philadelphia Healthcare & Corporate Event Photography: 2025 Year in Review

2025 was a year of growth in both the caliber and complexity of the work Scott Spitzer Photography took on. From managing multi-photographer teams at major healthcare and education conferences to capturing the human side of community service, this year showcased why the team excels at what they do for Philadelphia healthcare corporate photography and beyond.

Bringing Expertise to Healthcare & Life Sciences

Scott’s background in photographic sciences from RIT continues to be a differentiator in the Philadelphia market. When photographing gene therapy symposiums and cancer research conferences, understanding the science matters. It’s not just about capturing someone at a podium. It’s about recognizing the moment a researcher explains a breakthrough, knowing which lab equipment shots tell the story, and anticipating the images that matter most to the client.

This year, that expertise brought Scott Spitzer Photography back to incredible clients like Penn Medicine, PA Radiological Society, Johnson & Johnson, and GEMMABio. The team documented groundbreaking work in gene therapy, photographed Nobel Prize-winning researchers, and covered innovations from companies like Paxman Scalp Cooling, which is helping cancer patients through treatment. For the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, they captured the energy of emergency medicine professionals advancing their field. For the sixth year with The Galien Foundation, Scott managed a team of 10 photographers across multiple New York venues including the Alexandria Center, United Nations, and the American Museum of Natural History.

23 Years, Hundreds of Venues, Every Industry

After more than two decades photographing events throughout the Philadelphia region, Scott Spitzer Photography has developed an intimate knowledge of virtually every venue in the area. From multi-thousand capacity auditoriums to intimate historical Philadelphia venues, from state-of-the-art entertainment facilities to university campuses, the team knows the lighting challenges and the best angles. This means they walk into events prepared, whether it’s at the Pennsylvania Convention Center (where they’re a preferred vendor), or a unique location they’re capturing for the first time. That institutional knowledge is invaluable when clients need a photographer who can hit the ground running.

Beyond Philadelphia

While deeply rooted in the Philadelphia market, Scott Spitzer Photography’s work regularly takes them to destination events across the country. This year included New York for The Galien Foundation and a two-day event in Nashville for Pulse, a major U.S. electronic funds transfer debit network. Often, clients who initially hire them for Philadelphia-based events bring them along when their conferences move to new cities. They’d rather invest in travel costs than sacrifice the consistency and trust they’ve built together. That kind of loyalty speaks volumes.

From Clean Rooms to Conference Rooms

Some projects take photographers to unexpected places. For example, this year Scott spent two days photographing Colorcon’s manufacturing facilities, where they produce the coloring for medications. This meant suiting up in full clean room gear to capture the precision and technology behind pharmaceutical manufacturing. Ultimately, the images became key assets for Colorcon’s website and marketing collateral, showcasing their state-of-the-art facilities. It’s a reminder that event photography isn’t always about ballrooms and keynote speakers. Rather, it’s about documenting the innovation happening behind closed doors.

The Human Element

While much of Scott Spitzer Photography’s work centers on corporate and medical events, some of the most rewarding projects this year focused on community impact. The team spent a full day photographing seniors at Greater Harleysville and North Penn Senior Services adult daycare facilities, capturing the dignity and joy in services that truly matter to the community. For Jersey Cares, they documented volunteers packing food boxes in partnership with Points of Light, showing how local action creates real change. And for the third year running, they photographed Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year awards, celebrating the innovation and business leadership driving the region forward.

Multi-Day Conferences and Beyond

Scott Spitzer Photography provided two days of photo and video coverage for eClinical Solutions at ENGAGE 2025, documenting AI-driven automation and data analytics transforming clinical trials. For larger, more complex projects like this, Scott collaborates with trusted specialists—video producers, additional photographers, and technical experts to ensure clients get the best possible team for their specific needs.

Throughout the year, the team was a regular presence at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, and as a member of the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, they continue to be referred as a preferred vendor for conferences and trade shows. Scott Spitzer Photography also offers photo booth rentals through TapSnap, now with an exciting addition: LiveInk on-site custom t-shirt printing.
