U.S. Golf Open: Events at the Barnes Foundation and Philadelphia Museum of Art

Tyler Kuppig of Tyger Productions is a high-end event design and management company with an impeccable attention to detail. I met Ty at last year’s Major League Soccer All Star event and he contacted me for his recent June event in Philadelphia. Ty’s client hosted a dinner at the Philadelphia Museum of  Art which coincided with the U.S. Open being held in Lower Merion. Ty hired me to document the setup for his event management portfolio. Timing was everything, as I needed to photograph the space after it was ready but before guests actually arrived (very reminiscent of my UrbanDaddy assignment). Capturing images on a deadline is something most photographers are accustomed to, but trying to capture a specific moment in time for a client that has high expectations, never gets boring, especially at beautiful and historic locations.

The following day, my associate Hieu covered a smaller, more intimate event for Tyger Productions at the Barnes Foundation. Together, these two productions rated first class among Philadelphia events and I’m proud that Scott Spitzer Photography was able to document such special receptions which truly showcase Philadelphia’s best venues.
