From the Eagles Parade to BioWorld Congress:
A Year in Pictures

A Banner Year for Philadelphia Event Photography

What a year to cover the best of Philadelphia!  From the most intimate VIP gatherings to the grandest of parades, Scott Spitzer Photography was trusted by first-time and long-time clients. We provided them with all of their photographic needs in 2018 for Philadelphia event photography.  Our team of professional photographers shot over 75 events, including more than a dozen trade shows and conferences. Clients included our hometown’s championship sports teams, most prestigious universities, revered institutions, and newest organizations. Our offerings are broader than ever, having an ongoing dynamic partnership with two of Philadelphia’s premier providers, Clay Hereth for video production and TapSnap for photo booth services.  Thank you to all of our clients for allowing us to use our skills to showcase their successes in 2018 and we look forward to an even bigger and better 2019!

Fly Eagles Fly

It didn’t get any bigger in Philadelphia in 2018 than the Eagles Super Bowl parade.  We were honored to have been selected by one of the team’s top sponsors, Bud Light. Scott’s team documented the unbridled joy and unmatched celebrations of our team’s die-hard fans along the parade route and in bars throughout the city.  We captured everything from the masses of people to one-on-one interactions between Bud Light brand ambassadors with their customers, and everything in between.

Chocolate, Wine…and Fruit Flies?

Spring time brought about some fun work at Penn, photographing brand ambassadors at new campus stores. More fun followed with a Center City tasting party for a new chocolate by Callebaut. We rubbed elbows with some of the city’s premier pastry chefs, as we captured the unveiling and tasting interviews.

We’ve covered lots of healthcare conferences, but this was a new one for us. In April we shot the Annual Fruit Fly Conference. With an engaging trade show floor and jam-packed poster session, it was a unique two days. Later that month we once again covered the Fox Chase Cancer Center “In Vino Vita” wine auction. With over 550 in attendance, we were on site providing candid photography, step-and-repeat portraits, and TapSnap photo booth services.

Summer School

Scott Spitzer Photography continued our place as key partner to one of the country’s top universities, The University of Pennsylvania.  We spent our 9th year in a row at the Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics symposium, covered an executive team-building workshop in Gettysburg for the Wharton School as well as an epigenetics retreat, recorded a wonderful night at the Pendergrass Day Symposium & Dinner Dance, and as always, were on hand to preserve the memories from Penn Alumni Weekend.

We’re always inspired documenting educators who are transforming Philadelphia’s school system, and had the honor to do so yet again in 2018 covering this year’s cohort of Neubauer fellows at the Philadelphia Academy of School Leaders.  Our formal training in Biomedical Photographic Communications serves us well covering conferences and trade shows like the BIO World Congress in Philadelphia, one of the country’s hubs of science and healthcare.  And, if you’re not in the know about Schnizzfest, one of the foremost events for IT professionals, you should be!

Powerful Pictures

Later in the fall, we covered the Holocaust Museum’s 25th Anniversary at the Finley Catering Crystal Tea Room. The event was powerful and poignant, with almost 50 survivors in attendance.

While their bid for the playoffs came up short in 2018, the Phillies’ new manager, Gabe Kapler, brought a new level of excitement to the ballclub.  Our photographers captured his enthusiasm and ability to connect during an intimate fireside chat with the Neubauer Family Foundation at Citizens Bank Park.  The opening of a new state-of-the-art expansive TopGolf facility in the Philadelphia suburbs was a perfect way to showcase the range of our professional photographers.

That’s a Wrap

Just like the year started with the World Champion Eagles, we wrapped up 2018 with the team. Brian Communications requested our services for a health and wellness pop-up at Lincoln Financial Field. Hosted by AmeriHealth and the Eagles, the event provided health screenings and resources to more than 2,000 Medicare and Medicaid members. Behind-the-scenes tours of the field, locker rooms, and facilities were icing on the cake–and five Scott Spitzer photographers were on site to enjoy every bite.

Thank you to our repeat clients who trusted us again in 2018 to provide the best that Philadelphia event photography has to offer. And, to our new clients, we cannot say enough about how great it was to document your events throughout the year. We look forward to serving you for years to come. We can’t wait to see all that 2019 will bring – major conferences, intimate VIP events, milestone celebrations, and hopefully another Philadelphia championship! Our team is excited to capture each one of these precious moments for you.
