Fox Chase Cancer Center (FCCC) is one of our longest running clients and it’s always a pleasure to cover events for them. In partnership with the PA Breast Cancer Coalition, FCCC launched a “Don’t Miss Your Mammogram” campaign for breast cancer awareness. As part of the Temple University Health System, FCCC hosted a press conference with the coalition’s president and founder, Pat Halpin-Murphy and PA Senate Majority Leader Kim Ward. It was a great turnout and so important to get this message to the public. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many women have neglected to get their annual mammogram so this campaign is especially timely for breast cancer awareness.
The press conference concluded with a tour of the FCCC facility with Jonathan Chernoff, M.D., Ph.D., Cancer Center Director and PA Senate Majority Leader Kim Ward, showcasing all of the advances in cancer treatment within Fox Chase.
