In my last post I talked about something I rarely advertised before (but absolutely do offer): headshots. This post I wanted to spend some time talking about another service we offer: photo booths. For the last several years we have partnered with TapSnap. They are a local rental house that offers a fresh take on the age-old favorite photo booths.

Most people are somewhat familiar with the concept of a photo booth. Sometimes at a party or event there is a camera setup. Usually there is some sort of background and a table filled with ridiculous props. Attendees take turns dressing up and having their photo taken so they can get a printout of it at the end.

TapSnap Photo Booths

Well, TapSnap took the whole photo booth concept and modernized it. Instead of just having a camera setup, the basic TapSnap setup also comes with a screen (see above). Attendees can control the settings and see the images immediately. TapSnap also swapped out the background for a green screen (below left photo) so people can control what background goes into the photos (below right photo). The monitor also allows attendees to add text and graphics, similar to social media.

Speaking of social media, not only does TapSnap offer the print on site option that everyone loves, they also offer immediate uploads for social media AND copies sent right to your inbox.

In my time partnering with TapSnap, we have produced hundreds of branded photos. We have helped enhance the social media impact of numerous events. Together we have helped make a memorable experiences while increasing the amount of benefits for the host organization, too.

That’s Not All

Additionally, the folks at TapSnap offer another service, called Live Ink. With Live Ink, you can “add a super fun print-on-site station to incorporate your artwork onto promotional items and giveaways”. Live Ink touts itself as an “interactive and memorable experience for everyone involved”.

If you are hosting an event soon, and you want to add a fun twist to really stick out in people’s minds, reach out today to schedule a TapSnap photo booth!
